On 30 March 2022, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the Amir of Qatar inaugurated the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) with a tennis shot!
An avid tennis player since childhood, the Amir was the Captain of the Qatar Junior Tennis Team that won the 1993 Gulf Cooperation Council Under-16s Championship.
His Highness donated this signed tennis ball along with the tennis racquet he used during the QOSM opening ceremony (see QM.2024.0662.1) to the museum’s permanent collection.
